Nikki Haley, perhaps, or Kirsten Gillibrand if I have to pick a Democrat. What I envision her like may have little or no resemblance to what she actually ends up being like, of course.

Either someone like Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris, or Michelle Obama.  Certainly not as conservative (fashion-wise) as Hillary Rodham Clinton.

It's unfortunate that people seem to take offense when a female running for President mentions or is aware of the sexism she faces. Sexism is so pervasive; heck, there were even female Republicans who thought women couldn't be President because of hormones. There are many in this country who honestly believe women have no place in politics, or if they do that they need to be conformist and conservative. Women have every right to be in politics as men, and they should have just as much political power too. A woman President will be a reality when enough Americans recognize that.

interesting given we've already had a man become President because his dad was President... (and he was a lightweight, who was not much of a communicator)
