The rules here are simple. You have 3 days to vote in this poll with only 1 vote that can be cast and you can change your vote at any time within those 3 days. The only candidates allowed in this primary are those who were nominated by their political party for the Presidential election, who subsequently lost the election, and never once held the office of the Presidency. When the voting has finished, only the 2 candidates with the highest number of votes from each party will be qualified to enter the second round of voting. In the final round there will be one Democratic candidate and one Republican candidate. In the comments below feel free to reveal for whom you voted and why, which may persuade others to vote for the candidate of your choice.

7. Wendell Willikie
8. George McGovern
9. Walter Mondale
10. Alf London
11. Michael Dukakis

13. John McCain
14. Mitt Romney
15. Barry Goldwater
16. Bob Dole

I really like Goldwater. He just happened to run at the worst possible time for his kind of ideas.

1. Thomas Dewey
2. Charles Evan Hughes
3. Wendell Willkie
4. Alf Landon

None of those have any votes yet, so I'm debating between McGovern, Humphrey, and Goldwater.
