Palin might have been equally incompetent, but at least we know she'd quit once the job got too hard.

She probably has closer ties with Russia since she can see it from her house.  Roll Eyes

Sarah Palin had at least some previous experience in running an executive branch of government.

So she would have been slightly better than El Trumpo, I guess. Sort of like a female version of Dubya.

Yeah, clearly. Palin has actually criticized Trump on some relevant issues (like the Carrier deal). She was a pretty decent governor, if unready for the national stage, before she decided to switch to a more lucrative career and become an attention-grabbing celebrity; the endorsement of Trump was more about the new career than any ideological stance. Pre-2009 Palin as President wouldn't've been great, but it would've been a sincere desire to do well and enact conservative policies.

I think so. Palin seems shame-able, and would probably resign if shamed enough. Trump has no shame; if he goes down, he plans on taking the country with him.

It's been forgotten, but she wasn't a bad Governor pre-August 2008

If she were in office then Trump would be winning this poll (in vice versa form, of course) handsomely. I'm personally not sure which of them is worse, but what I am sure of is that presentism always runs wild.

Not sure.  She's less mean but probably would have been more incompetent.

Then again, it's not necessarily a good thing if Trump achieves his immoral objectives.  In that sense, it would be better to have a president who's too stupid do anything.  Palin would have gotten bored quickly, and would have been happy to let others take over the hard tasks of office.

As ridiculous as Trump is, he is determined to do what he wants, and is why he may be more dangerous than pitiful Palin.

Lol yes!

She probably would have had more knowledge of the executive branch since she had some (not much) government experience. She would still be like Trump and attack the "lamestream fake media" every time something negative was uttered about her. The fact that Trump is considering her to be ambassador to Canada is lmao-worthy. The pre-2008 Palin would have been better than Trump, but both are celebrity attention whores now.

Whoever said Palin could be shamed must have forgotten how she viciously defened her crosshairs on the map for Democratic House pickup targets not long after Gabby Giffords's assassination attempt and her "shuck and jive" comment about Obama. I don't think she has any shame.

Yes. In much the same way a stroke is better than a gunshot to the temple.

Her record is kind of hard to assess though, since she completed a whopping zero terms as governor.

She'd be less egotistical and depend on her advisors more, so in a way, she'd likely have been more competent. She'd also have more people like Cruz & co in cabinet rather than a bunch of billionaires.

-You're assuming Trump's advisors are more competent than he is. That is a highly dubious assumption.
