Antonio it's surprising but also encouraging to see you morph into a strong proponent of religion and state intervention to promote religious practice.

Yeah, the government providing prisoners with conditions to worship their religion... a terrible state intervention.

Was this the case with Christians? If yes, this is fine, if not, it is not.

I try to sum it up in one sentence:

The prison director found it unfair that the Muslims in the prison have no mosque, depite now being a majority there, but Christians were having a church room inside of it - despite being a minority now.

I'd rather they have a praying/meditation room that doesn't make distinctions between people of different religions (or no religion), but I don't see any problem with this

that's how the (US) military does it.  Every base has a chapel of some kind and there is a schedule.

Well, it makes sense for them to get a place for the prisoners to practice their religion as is their right.
But really, it's just one of many other proofs that Europe is a very, very bad fit for recievin, assimilating and handling immigration. The U.S. and Canada are much better for this.

As long as all preachers and material is appropriately regulated to avoid sectarian and extreme idealogies, this could be for the best.

Also, religion may actually help reform some criminals.

1) yes, some flaws can be cured through religion.

2) REAL religious professionals could maybe counter-act the spreading of "bullshoot islam" in prisons, which is technically criminal islam.

3) would be necessary to make sure, this is not once again sponsored by foreign nations

I think you will find that prisons will allow religious freedom. The whole idea of redemption and reform on a personal level fits well with religion.
