I'm not sure Trump would continue to play golf if he really sucked at it and didn't cheat. He is obsessed about his image and perception of greatness, and being a guy who owns a bunch of golf courses and prides himself on being a "winner" yet chronically losing is totally not something he would indulge in.

I think I am willing to give him some benefit of the doubt. He probably cheats, maybe even more so than whatever may be considered average, but he does appear to have some talent. It would probably be fair to say he'd best the presidents in this poll, but doubtful that his handicap is genuinely that good.

Trump's handicap makes him the best presidential golfer ever, just ahead of JFK. W. Was around an 8-9, Clinton used mulligans so often they referred to them as billigans, Obama was worse than Trump or W. But better than Clinton, and would probably beat my butt on the course.

In fairness to trump a LOT of people cheat at golf, so I don't know how badly he does, I've heard from people that have caddied or played with him that even without cheating he's a 4 handicap, and that's good.
