More like the best non-southern state.

This. Well, maybe New Jersey isn't actually the best non-southern state, but all of the best states are in the South.

It's Arizona or Nevada.

You've clearly never been to Delaware. Unless that's the South for some reason.

The inclusion of Massachusetts kind of discredits this map.

I hope this isn't meant to imply that every Southern state is worse than New Jersey, LOL.  I mean, you hail from one.

Anywho, NJ seems fine ... don't know much about it besides Jersey Shore, it's the most affluent state, it's like 80% suburbs and the JERSEY DEVIL.  Won't judge until I can step foot there.  With that said, going TOTALLY off stereotypes here and people I've met anecdotally, I find East Coast pushiness very, very offputting, and I would likely stick out like a sore thumb given my Midwestern reserved nature.

No, that would be Iowa or Nebraska.

Both of those states are great states with nice people, fun towns and healthy economies.  Both also have a lot less poverty, social problems and overall racial tension than Georgia, so I'll take 'em anyday of the week.

The Dakotas are pretty awful, but Jersey is a hole..........so yeah, it's probably the worst.

You'd like aspects of Western Mass, although most of the people would probably drive you crazy.

You might like it to visit. Similarly, I'd probably really like Louisiana to visit but don't think I'd want to live there.

Better than Delaware, which is not a part of the South despite what the US Census Bureau says.

1. What's with the non-southern part? Are you implying the south is awful?
2. New Jersey lacks Midwestern winters, so obviously not.

Honestly, if you can stand the weather, parts of New Orleans wouldn't be bad for a Northeasterner.

Yes. Most of Atlas hates the south, so asking if NJ is the worst state would be counter-productive.

Besides, Mississippi is the worst state of all.

That's a funny way to spell Connecticut.
