It's amusing, in retrospect.  If someone had predicted a President Obama in 2008 after a decisive borderline landslide over John McCain back then, he'd be considered incredibly hackish and laughed off the board.  The love of George Allen is also hilarious.

Of course, who am I to talk?  Up until the day the story broke, I maintained that Eliot Spitzer would eventually be President.
