Grover Cleveland.

If we are only limiting to contemporary politicians, then:

My all time favorite Republican is probably Teddy Roosevelt (with Ike and Lincoln close behind) and my favorite current Republican is Lisa Murkowski.

Fiorello LaGuardia was a pretty great Republican. Among the contemporary GOP, probably Richard Hanna.

If we're counting all Republicans, then I'd agree with TR, Eisenhower, and Lincoln, although there are certainly many others that deserve to be mentioned.

As for contemporary Republicans, I would say that Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, and Jon Huntsman aren't bad. I also like what Walter Jones is doing in regards to the Russia investigation, but I don't know too much about him so I can't really call him a favorite.

Current:
Charlie Baker
Richard Hanna is also pretty cool.

All-Time
Dewey seems cool from what little I've seen(I could be wrong though)
Lincoln freed the slaves
I wish Lowell P. Weicker Jr. was Connecticut's class one senator(though I don't think he's still a republican)
Goldwater was interesting, from what I read he voted against the civil rights act of 1964 because he thought it wouldn't help African Americans and would instead assist in the creation of a police state, and he stated that he voted against it reluctantly, wanting a better law. link. I don't agree with him, but his ideas are interesting.
Teddy was a shameless racist, so screw him.

I don't have a favorite Republican, since most of them are pretty terrible.

Ana Navarro.

As far as elected officials go, it's a tie between Lisa Murkowski and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. Richard Hanna is cool too since he was one of the handful of Republicans who publicly endorsed HER. Ben Sasse is tolerable especially when he's attacking the orange mannequin. Couldn't name one for Governor. Maybe Charlie Baker.

Jerry Brown probably, though based largely off his older reputation. I do wish he had ran in 2016.

I also like Biden and Hillary Clinton.

Still around and in office or recently in office: Charlie Baker, John Kasich, Brian Sandoval, Larry Hogan, Tom Corbett, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jon Huntsman.

I also respect John McCain as a person very much. Lindsey Graham, Lisa Murkowski and Jeff Flake are also not bad people.

All Republicans: Abe Lincoln, Wendell Willkie, Nelson Rockefeller, Gerald Ford, Theodore Roosevelt, Everett Dirksen. (especially the first four)

How about Kasich? I'd never vote Republican but he seemed like a decent guy.
