Currently there are two terminals. One is named after Lindbergh, the other after Hubert Humphrey.

I really dislike having a terminal named after that fascist in our airport and it bothers me every time I'm there. I favor renaming it the Barack Obama Terminal. Or if it has to be a Minnesotan, then the Paul Wellstone Terminal.

Do Paul Wellstone. That or Jesse "The Body" Terminal!

I can assure you that one of the worst Governors in the state history will not ever have anything major named after him.

Go with the obvious and Floyd B. Olson.

My opinion of him is actually, uh, pretty mixed. You rarely hear today about how he was one of the most mob-connected Governors in the country: http://www.citypages.com/news/the-forgotten-crime-boss-kid-cann-the-original-teflon-don-reigned-over-minneapolis-6570344

Oklahoma City's airport is named after Will Rogers so I don't see the problem with Wellstone.

If we want to judge by modern standards, the vast majority of relevant historical figures would look downright awful considering views and actions, but such an excercise has always looked mostly pointless to me (with a few notable exceptions). If the airport was named like that due to his accomplishments as a pilot, I'm not sure why it should be renamed due to his politics.

His politics were atrocious even at the time. It's not like he just privately muttered a few racist comments or something.

There doesn't seem to be a connection between Lindbergh and Minneapolis, so I wouldn't be opposed per second, but it would depend on who you name it after.  As long as it ain't yet another dead politician, that'd be fine, but renaming it for Mondale or Wellstone is a non-starter in my opinion. Renaming it after Keillor once he passes on would be a fitting tribute.
Wow this aged poorly lol.

Frankly based on this logic name it after Prince. I'd take that over Lindbergh.
