There are things about Tarantino that I like a lot but he's clearly going downhill. I'd agree that the process started with Kill Bill (which is a shame, for a number of reasons) but The Hateful Eight is the first of his movies that I found actively unpleasant. Unfortunately I doubt it'll be the last. Melanie Laurent's character from Inglourious Basterds deserved way better other characters to play off of.
