- I'm cool with fracking if there was more oversight. Anything that can help bring about the death of the coal industry is a good thing.
- I am all in favor of cutting wasteful spending and cutting taxes. I just imagine what I consider wasteful and who deserves their taxes cut is different than those on the other side.
- Not opposed to all military actions. Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War II, Korean War (maybe), Gulf War, and the War in Afghanistan were all acceptable. Similar situations would be acceptable in the future. Also destroying ISIS is a necessity.

I'm far-left but...

- think the left should point out the harm of Islamic fundamentalism (though focus on it being religious fundamentalism rather than Islamic, just that it should criticize harmful Islamists just as much as Christian fanatics)

- think some poor people are somewhat responsible for their situation. I am empathize with their poverty but not necessarily their culture/values/education/work ethic

- don't think individualism is inherently bad

- think some minorities are too quick to attribute any bad experiences as being caused by racism.

- I'm very feminist but think it's ok to use pornography.
