While I favor stringent financial oversight Glass Steagall had nothing to do with the crisis and Dodd-Frank is probably a decent law but highly cumbersome and onerous.

So aye to repeal both as long as we saw a better Dodd-Frank law that was simplified with the best features contained.

Aye and undecided.

Kingpoleon and Tom RINO below are right on the regulation issue. Most regulations are unnecessary, if well-intentioned.

Lean Aye on repealing Dodd-Frank, Strong Aye on reinstituting Glass-Steagall.

I am aware. However, the one in the late 1970s was just as bad as 2008-09.

I have trouble understanding how an actual human being who has to live in the real world could believe this.

Nay and aye, unless it's a package deal where DF is repealed and Glass-stegall I'd reinstated, in which case aye to that compromise.

As someone who works in banking, everyone loves the idea of regulations until it affects them and they see how ing stupid and costly a lot of them are.  I know that just oozes a stereotype, but it's funny to see that the evil bankers, the "rich" business owners and all of these other people who are talked about like they're mythical figures on internet message boards are actually just, ya know, people trying to succeed in whatever they're selling the public, and a lot of regulations drag them down with very little in apparent benefits for society.

Me too. Regulations always prove cumbersome in school projects in my experience.
