Unfortunately, the alt-left of Michael Moore, Lyndon LaRouche, and Howard Zinn is more popular among the Democratic mainstream than most Republicans. That will likely mean that Maduro beats out Trump with Atlas's Democrats.

Let's not pretend Howard Zinn is an actual historian. He clearly had an extremely radical agenda, and the fact that people like Shadows and other staunch Sanders supporters keep quoting him is certainly comparable to the alt-right of Milo and Richard Spencer.

This reminds me a lot of Austria in 1947, when the Verbotsgesetz was passed.

I’ve noticed young women my age will automatically block you, cut you off totally and permanently and consider you an unredeemable person if you differ even slightly from their views, and they refuse to accept any apologies, explanations or clarifications of possible misunderstanding.

op is funny af and made funnier with the addition

This...is just something else, and it belongs in these halls of disgrace (imagine thinking someone actually wants this, this sounds like literal Stalinism or fascism, and I have been loud and clear about being a capitalist and being someone who is a strong proponent of racial equality and a strong critic of bigotry), propose renaming the thread

You should do something about Del Tachi and jimrtex. I think they should be banned permanently (much like what BRTD is trying to do to me).

I second this honestly, though you should be banned too

> Be S019
> Wake up at 8:00 AM sharp to a knock on the door
> The police have arrived for the biweekly weapons sweep
> Open the door; ten SWAT officers march through the house to check for watermelon knives
> They confiscate a potato peeler and leave
> Time for breakfast
> Decide to make toast
> Remember that toasters have been illegal for three years, ever since a toddler got his hand stuck in one
> Put bread in electric stove
> Stove has maximum temperature of 100 degrees, as per regulations
> Look for a butter knife, but they've all been confiscated
> Spread butter on limp, warm bread using a plastic spoon
> Try not to make eye contact with the surveillance camera in the kitchen ceiling
> Time to go to work
> Don helmet and reflective vest
> Hop into government-designed mobility vehicle
> The office is only 15 miles away, but ever since the speed limit was lowered to 5 mph to prevent crashes, the commute takes three hours
> On the way to work, stop off at the courthouse to pay fines for the week
> Pay fine for not trimming weeds in front yard
> Pay fine for being outside after curfew
> Pay fine for jaywalking
> Pay fine for pumping own gas
> Eventually arrive at work at the Department of Regulatory Compliance, which employs 90% of the town
> Insert wrist barcode into scanner mounted at desk
> Receive new case file
> Subject is a man who attempted to commit suicide by jumping from a bridge but was stopped by a safety net
> This criminal must be punished for violating the anti-suicide statute
> Sentence him to death
> Spend rest of the day filling out forms, stamping forms, signing forms
> Fill out application to use fully automatic assault stapler, in order to staple the other forms
> Get in mobility vehicle for the long journey home
> On the way back, stop at a food procurement center to pick up a loaf of bread
> Mandatory strip search takes 45 minutes
> Someone is taken in for questioning after the background check flags them for painting a neighbor’s fence without an occupational license
> Finally make it in line to buy bread
> Cashier asks to see gluten permit
> He realizes the permit has been expired for two whole days
> Justice workers arrive to take me to a re-education center
> Cashier points at me and yells “HE’S GOT A FORK!”
> Lose consciousness as the justice workers rain blows upon me with their non-lethal stun batons
> Such is life in the glorious utopia of suburban New Jersey

I just assume that people who say this are completely obsessed with sex. Like the socialists who turned "AOC feet pics" into a meme despite the fact that no one other than them ever thought of such a thing.
It's a meme b/c certain conservative pundits cannot stop tweeting about her. All we are doing is recognizing their subconscious sexual obsession.

We know what the vote will be. It’s a foregone conclusion. Roberts will even fail to convince Kavanaugh.

I'm impressed by your skill in clairvoyance.
I have that skill.

This new guy actually rocks

If you think these "audits" will actually help the GOP in 2022, I would like to know what drug you are on.

I do not take any drug type pills but I do take vitamin D, multivitamin, zinc, Magnesium, L Theanine, Inositol as supplements if you are curious but I do not think they contribute to my political views.

Important points made here, CC high quality post thread
None of this is related to anything I said.

Uh, do you seriously not understand how Hegel's dialectic between the lordship and the bondsman both completes the system of German Idealism and functions as an inherently conservative argument for both mutual societal recognition between unequal parties and the inexorable progress of history? One would almost think you're still reading Fichte!

Some readings for you to familiarize yourself with:

The Phenomenology of Spirit
Elements of the Philosophy of Right
John Hart Ely: Democracy and Distrust
Frederick Schauer: Formalism
Nietzsche: Ecce Homo
Gustave Le Bon: The Crowd: A Study of the Popular Mind
Spinoza: Tractatus Theologico-Politicus
Alexander Gerschenkron: Continuity in History
Mark Granovetter: The Impact of Social Structure on Economic Outcomes
Vine Deloria: Laws and Treaties
Travis W. Anderson: Philology & Meaning
Alan Watts: The Nature of God

Powerful brain on display here
Is it considered “cool” to deny the larger scale Hue and Dak Son massacres committed by the NVA/Viet Cong?

Democrats, meanwhile, operate as an incredibly united and forward-looking front when it comes to voting Democratic/defending Democrats no matter what — they might have (minor) ideological disagreements as well, but they’ll always follow the "party first, ideology/person last" model, even on the most controversial issues and figures, in order to actually see their goals become policy and their world view remain the status quo.

Democrats are just remarkably organized and known for sticking together on an unprecedented scale (in part because their ideology subordinates individual identity to the collective state/party apparatus). It is probably the best organized, most cohesive major political party in the Western Hemisphere, and they’ve long been united in letting nothing get in the way of their front
