It is interesting that Clinton only led the EV for 18 minutes, between 8:00PM to 8:16PM on AP even though Clinton kept it close the entire time until the end, when states like PA got called.  Most of it, has to do with the fact that AP, like Fox, called FL before 11PM when CA got called for Clinton. Other media outlets had a longer lead time for Clinton because they called FL later (like 11:30PM.)

The contrast with 2008 could not be more stark, when swing states such as PA, WI, MI, IA, were called instantly for Obama, and even MT, ND, SD, was not called right away for McCain.
