I vote New York Times by a nose, as Vox does, on occasion, revise its lies, and will limit myself to a maximum of four responses per page in this thread to encourage more meaningful discussion without the necessity of my presence.

People who claim the NYTimes is not a pro-Clinton Dem hack site of largely the same content as Vox, only in a more schoolmarmy tone and with slightly more original reporting, never actually read it. But, on the matter of less fair coverage of conservatives overall, it's a pretty close race, and good arguments can be made for either.

Vox, because the NY Times is anti-Clinton:

Vox is basically a Dem Hack site. It has some good information, but it also is pretty click-baity and has a very obviously lean, much more obvious than the New York Times.

NYT is more journalistic but also more partisan. Vox is more interesting but more ideological.

Does that make any sense at all?

-Yglesias does oppose Ryan as being an enemy of the poor, but I wouldn't necessarily describe Vox as more ideological. You're spot-on on the other adjectives, though.

If they really wanted to help Hillary, they would have endorsed her opponents to make themselves seem anti-Hillary, and then run a bunch of positive articles about her. Instead they did the opposite.

Does Vox even pretend to not be an establishment Democratic hack site?

Vox has an obvious bias but I don't think their coverage of conservatives is particularly unfair, they are a world away from the likes of Salon, Rolling Stone, or Teen Vogue.  This interview for example provided probably the most cogent defense of state RFRA laws published anywhere. And they give pro-lifers a platform sometimes and I haven't seen them use the term "anti-choice" like a lot of lefty sites.

I wouldn't touch Vox with a ten foot poll. The NYT is a legit good media source.

Vox is my single favorite news source in the history of journalism.
