Because a defense attorney has never lied. I'm not saying I knew who's telling the truth, but let's not jump to conclusions and immediately claim ice is fabricating evidence. [/quote]
Sure lawyers have lied. The difference between the profession of law and journalism is that there is no professional standard or body regulating journalism. Even if an attorney presents false information without knowing whether it is true or false, said attorney may be punished by the BAR Association under the Rules of Professional conduct if it is found that the attorney "should have known" of the false information. Could you imagine if a journalist was held to this standard?
