Howard Dean on Morning Joe giving a Strong, full force endorsement for Buttigieg....Dean said that he's the only one with administrative experience (2 tours in mid east & has 1000 employees under him in South Bend in his Mayoral capacity, the only one Outside of Washington, Age 36 is a big asset to show the Party is not lead by everyone over 70, Perez or Ellison haven't been able to wrap it up despite the big name endorsements, Buttigieg is 2nd choice for Perez & Ellison supporters (vs Perez & Ellison being 3rd choice), etc, etc
The problem for Buttigieg is the rule that knocks someone out after the 3rd round. Buttigieg would have to have enough momentum (if he has a good performance tonight, Dean's endorsement, etc) to strongly over-perform in the initial vote to the extent that Perez looks weak by vastly underperforming . Otherwise enough Perez Supporters would not jump ship after the 1st vote (but if the 1st vote was something like 85 Buttigieg - 145 Perez... then Perez may have a lot of defector).
Butt obviously a stretch..
