California, Hawaii and Washington already have insanely progressive Democratic parties.

California's Democratic party is so progressive that every top Democrat in the state endorsed Hillary, and they let the oil companies get away without paying a dime in extraction fees, while Alaska makes them pay 25%. And they declined to endorse a progressive tax proposition that got 61% of the vote.
