Me trying to figure out why Gillibrand is third in this poll:

Delaney has a better shot than Gillibrand, not even joking.

Of all the major candidates Gillibrand has the strongest cred with the feminist establishment, she's proven she can raise a lot of money, her New York base provides a lot of built-in media attention and according to 538 she has voted against Trump's positions more than any other Senator.  It looks like she is successfully cultivating friends in other states.  All that counts for something in a Democratic Primary.

I have a feeling that 2020 is going to be like 1992, 1988, or 1976 in a sense that it'll be a little known candidate that we least expect.
Hopefully Governor Bullock Cheesy

I actually think he'd be a strong candidate, and I like how hard he fought against Citizens United.

For some reason people think he's a moderate. The only thing he's remotely moderate on is climate due to Montana having a sizable coal industry. I am a big fan of him and think he's a great speaker. If he doesn't run for President I hope he at least wins the Senate seat from Daines.

Another reading from tea leaves... We will be all more confident after midterms.

Voted Garcetti, I definitely want to run some outside the beltway candidate (Hickenlooper counts too). If not, I would go for Booker maybe. Status quo, but he's at least a bit charismatic.

Appreciate his mayoral tenure, but I can't help the feeling he's like Jimmy Carter - good local/state politician, but he would probably fail in federal politics (mostly due to the saying "the tsar is good, the boyars are bad"), but I would try to join him into the Cabinet - maybe as a HUD boss?
