President Donald Trump: F
Vice President Mike Pence: F
Senator Dianne Feinstein: D- (She was a disappointment as far back as Harvey Milk's life. Always a Moderate Hero for the sake of it it seems. Turned S.F. into an overdeveloped wreck, and now has proceeded as Senator to mostly sit back and do what leftists accuse Hillary of doing)
Senator Kamala Harris: B+ (Can't quite give an A to anyone who hasn't done an astounding job, but her moves against Trump give her a B+ as a floor)
Governor Jerry Brown: A+  (Best politician in the country)
Representative Barbara Lee: B-  (Too whiny, hackish, and doesn't always come off as particularly bright, but she totally called it with The Iraq War and where that was going even right after 9/11)
Mayor Jesse Arreguin: A (Don't know too much honestly, but I like what I have read. Tom Bates was the guy for so long that I don't have too much of a standard to work with.)

I really don't know what to think for the Assemblyman Tony Thurmond or Senator Nancy Skinner

President Donald Trump: F (Still an abrasive asshole)
Governor Paul LePage: F (Still an abrasive asshole)

Congresswoman Chellie Pingree: A (Next President of the United States)
State Senator Mark Dion: C (Abrasive asshole whom I agree with)
State Representative Denise Harlow: A (One of my favorite politicians)
Mayor of Portland Ethan Strimling: B (Abrasive asshole whom I agree with more frequently than Dion)

I'm not the only right-winger who thinks so. (of course, I like Schumer for other reasons)

PM Malcolm Turnbull: D-

Too many senators to rate (We have 12 for Victoria)

MP for Murray Damian Drum: C-

You don't really hear about the governor over here, as they are appointed

Shepparton District MLA Suzanna Sheed: A(Might be bias here as I actually know her, also, her Overall voting record is exactly in line with a Labor, or Green MLA, which would make her the first ever progressive elected in this region)

Shepparton Mayor Dinny Adems: B+

Your Country's Leader: Justin Trudeau: B, I like him a lot as a person but his government has not really focused on the issues I see as priorities. A few good things like the child benefit, but this year's budget looks bad.
House of Commons: Helene Laverdiere: C+, good voice on issues of international development, not bad but not stellar on anything
Premier: Phillipe Couillard: A-, made some budget cuts that I think were excessive, but overall a good premier who has turned the provincial economy around
MNA: Manon Masse: D-, annoying, extreme, weird
Mayor: Denis Coderre: D, the paragon of government waste (Montreal's 375th anniversary celebrations including a 40 million dollar bridge lighting???)

Your Countries Leader: Donald Trump: F, just God-awful
Your State's Senator (s):
Jerry Moran: C-, still a remarkably good guy at heart, and he's more independent than some, but still too conservative and close to Trump
Pat Roberts: D, he's been lock in step with Trump and his recent comments on women's health were abhorrent
Your Districts Federal Rep: VACANT, which is still better than Pompeo was
Your States Governor: Sam Brownback: F, he's tanked the state and continues to block real solutions
Your State Rep: KC Ohaebosim: A-, I mean he's voted the right way on just about everything, and while he hasn't taken up much leadership, he's a political newcomer after all...
Your State Senator: Carolyn McGinn: B-, she's been pretty darn good as a whole but she's been rendered less effective by leadership
Your City's Mayor: Jeff Longwell: A-, he's done a good job working on developing downtown and other projects, but I wish he was more progressive

US Senator Bob Corker:  D
US Senator Lamar Alexander:  F+
US Representative Diane Black:  F-
Governor Bill Haslam:  C
TN Representative Ryan Williams:  F
TN Senator Paul Bailey:  Not sure, probably an F

Republicans don't get much better than Bill Haslam.  If he were eligible for re-election, I'd vote against him in the general but register for the Republican primary to make sure he advances to the final round because he's the best electable choice probably.  Conservative but very reasonable and competent.

US Senator Cory Booker: B-
Governor Chris Christie: D
Representative Donald Norcross: D+

You may understand why I've imposed a personal "no political news/media after 9PM" rule. Being frustrated after a certain hour in the evening affects one's sleep quality Smiley

For whatever it's worth, the mayor of my town is a man who must be at least 85 years old, and has been in office almost as long as I've been alive. I guess he's OK? I've met him a few times, and he seems nice enough.

President Donald Trump: F-. Should be obvious enough.

Senator Jeff Merkley: A. He's not perfect on everything, but he's actually progressive and for the most part has struck a good tone in opposition to Trump.. Having the only senator to endorse Sanders is nice.

Senator Ron Wyden: B-. Good on civil liberties and otherwise generic democrat. He's a little obsessed with tax cuts, his alternative healthcare plan was mediocre, and even in the Trump era, based on his town hall I attended, he is dead set on compromise for its own sake.

Governor Kate Brown: B. Actual policies make her one of the best governors in the country (automatic voter registration, minimum wage hike, etc.) That being said she is a terrible campaigner and has no idea how to expand her appeal beyond the Portland Metro. Ties to Comcast are also shifty.

Representative Greg Walden: F-. "Nasty to poor people." One of the architects behind the AHCA, which is really all you need to know about him.

State Senator Tim Knopp: F. Generic conservative.

State Representative Knute Buehler: F-. "Fiscally conservative socially liberal Smiley" republican but the socially liberal positions that he touts in ads don't make a difference because there is no threat to abortion or LGBT rights at the state level (or marijuana and euthanasia for that matter). Also, despite recognizing climate change's existence, he votes against environmental regulations. And on his "fiscal conservatism," he's another wealthy doctor whose primary goal is tax cuts and representations the one percenters that run local politics. Although I volunteered for his opponent's campaign last year, so I have a tiny bit of bias.

Mayor Casey Roats: F. Bend doesn't even elect its mayor or pay councilmembers any more than a $200 stipend, so naturally it's just a place for the wealthy to congregate. In the case of Roats, he's my water supplier.
