Deputy Chair is an absolute meaningless position & this is a symbolic gesture. The DNC Vice Chairs had no role in debate schedule or fund management & didn't even know the budget. Tulsi Gabbard was barred from even attending a Dem primary debate.

I don't see this ceremonial Deputy thing mattering.

Perez wins & Obama-Hillary once again finds a waya to slight Bernie & his people. They could have given Ellison who would have been good & a life long Dem this position!

And this idea about Peter B. being better than Ellison is a joke. It only comes from people who are desperate to oppose the Bernie wing & know that Perez is bad, so equate him to Ellison & say Peter B. is better. Peter B. is never gonna be President !

And the worst thing is they put Perez only to stop Ellison. He was not a bad candidate. Also Perez's shady dirty campaign while occupying an official WH position was deeply disturbing.

He was the one who asked Podesta to cast Bernie as a white only candidate who can't connect with minorities ! He sounded stupid, clueless & evaded every important question.

I am hoping Perez will be replaced in 2018!
