Your feelings on Perez as DNC Chair, Ellison as Deputy Chair?

Perez is better than Ellison... in that there are less attacks the republicans can hurl against Perez (republican were hoping it would be Ellison)...

But Buttigieg would have been the best.  Not only do I think he would have done a good job... there is very little the Republican's can really attack him for- and he has won over many republicans familiar with him in Indiana... sheerly based on what a good job he has done turning South Bend around.

Rich to claim that the Bernie people are the ones who made this a proxy war when it initially looked like Ellison was a consensus choice before Obama rustled up someone to run against him for muh ceremonial post of no real consequence.

Ellison was no more the consensus candidate than Hillary was... Both just were the 1st to announce and get a fair amount of endorsements.  Many people (including myself) thought there was a better choice & were waiting to see who else emerged. 

(That said- I thought Buttigieg was the best choice ... Perez & Ellison are about the same for me- in that I don't think they were the best choice, But either would be acceptable.  DNC Chair is not worth getting bent out of shape about)
