I have started threads for your opinions of Tom Cotton and Ben Cardin.
Now, I'd like to create a hypothetical match-up for them in 2020. Assume Trump resigns and goes down in flame in light of a major scandal, whilst all the Trumpists rally around Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR), making him the nominee for the Republican Party. On the other side, Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) somehow wins the Democratic nomination (running on a centrist platform), beating fellow Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).
