yeah, this is not only terrible, it's not only "too early", the thought alone is disgusting.

reminds me of the kind of user comments under news about deaths.

reflecting on someone's life isn't always going to be a positive experience. I read the article and largely agreed with what it said.

as if his life was somehow forever tainted by it.

After he left the show, he kept somewhat of a low profile and was not talked about. When somebody passes, articles usually focus on what they were known as. It's not as if he was portrayed as a horrible person in the article, just that he was more of a seat filler for the network.

Every word in that article is true.

What would be the point of waiting 5 years (or however long you feel necessary) to publish it? It would be totally irrelevant by then.
