He would obviously keep Trumpists loyal and seems to be the moderate voice in the administration. A ticket like Nikki Haley/Jared Kushner or Kelly Ayotte/Jared Kushner.

... Picking the President's son-in-law for Vice President? Taft could have conceivably picked Nicholas Longworth...

As I understand the title, the scenario is that the Trumpster retires. I don’t see that happening in 2020, if he’s still in office by then. So we’re more talking about 2024. Kushner would definitely bring some youth to a GOP ticket and after serving in the WH some experience in politics (at least more than Drumpf himself). A Pence/Kushner ticket would be interesting, but is not happening in my judgement. I think that Kushner is way too liberal for a national GOP ticket. I see better choices for Pence as nominee. Haley and Ayotte, especially the latter, are unrealistic nominees if Pence runs. Haley maybe for VP.
