Bush went on the Today show... and proved he's going to be even more critical against Trump than Obama will be (or than he ever was during the Obama years)

I gotta love how liberals are going through doublethink. They wanted to kill or impeach Bush while in office, but now he's a saint. Yeah sure, I've always hated him and will continue to do so.

He might be right about Trump, but it will never erase all damage he'd done worldwide. It's people like him who made Trump possible in first place.

I am a W 43 supporter. I actually became a Republican because of him.

Bush could have been a decent president had he just not gotten us into the Iraq war, and reigned in Collateralized Debt Obligations instead. I remember when he was Governor of Texas first making his name on the national scene, he prided himself in speaking Spanish. His compassionate PEPFAR program saved millions. What a world of difference from today's GOP.

I really don't know what to think of George W. Bush now. I hated his Presidency, from the Iraq War to the tax cuts to financial deregulation to the no child left behind act. But because I grew up with his Presidency, there's a nostalgia part of me that will always have a soft spot for him.

But he is significantly less bad than Trump, so there's that.

The problems that helped Trump become President are in no small part thanks to Bush and Co.

No, just no.

The problems that helped Trump become President are in no small part thanks to Bush and Co.

No, just no.

Yes, it takes a significant and borderline criminal degree of willful ignorance to praise the architect of the Iraq War and the post-9/11 national security state, who presided over the deregulation that enabled the housing and financial crises, and who did virtually nothing to address the most serious domestic policy problems of his presidency for now lamenting the delayed fallout of his disastrous leadership.

Wake me up when he and his comrades-in-arms Obama and Clinton hold a joint press conference apologizing to this country for what they have wrought.

Yup, anyone who thinks that Trump will somehow do more damage than the last 3.. or 5 Presidents combined is a fool.

LOL

In comparison to Trump, Dubya is well on his way to become a moderate RINO hero.

It's not that Bush was such a great president, but... pretty much every one shines compared to the Trumpster.

Everything bad he did and their legacies just disappeared the day Obama took office. Of course.
