Looks like I'll definitely have to watch this race. This interesting quote caught my eye:

I live in Tally. He butchered the response to the Hurricane in September; we had to have Governor Scott intervene to get the lights back on.

Gillum won't go far, especially if Graham runs.

I'm surprised he actually pulled the trigger.

I heard a lot of interesting stuff on campaigns and in internships, but rarely anything lurid aside from Rubio and Gillum. Both of them have skeletons full of closets. Florida's political elite in both parties seem to have some type of unspoken peace where they don't reveal each other's literal dirty laundry I guess.

I mean literally my professor for basic American Govt at TCC was literally a member of the FL Democratic Party who told us that a Republican incumbent in the State Senate had a secret family with another woman who he'd been supporting, with the words "stay tuned." Nothing ever came out of it. There is with out a doubt some sort of joint-partisan fixer who keeps Florida politics as clean as the Everglades Tongue

Putnam is great. His 2018 campaign is the only reason I'm still interested in remaining active in the party. #HalseyForAg as well.

No chance but definitely a rising star...perhaps Senator after Nelson croaks
Do you even try to understand things, or is every Mayor under 30 a "rising star?" I'm still waiting on President Luke Ravenstahl.

LOL, way too far. No way he gets past the primary let alone the general.

Cool theme. It's a bit long though.

Any updates about whether John Morgan will run?  The buzz around him seems to have died down a bit, as far as I can tell.

Endorsed. Pretty much the total opposite of Scott.

He is. Andrew Gillum couldn't get the lights on in Tallahassee for three days, but the Governor (who lives a mile down the street from me) got them working in one night when he got tired of working in a darkened, sweltering Governor's mansion.

I take it Chuck E. Cheese is happy in Congress and won't run for governor again?

I would not put it past him, but I think he's hoping to take on Rubio or Putnam in 2022.
