Holy sh**t, just listen to yourself. Putin is an elite, buddy.

-He is an Eisenhoweresque establishment figure. He turned against some of the elites (e.g., Berezovsky) in the early 00s. He is certainly not bought, like Romney was.
Putin is a paternal autocrat who's used his position to enrich himself and his friends at the expense of democracy and the Russian people. Eisenhower was a decorated General who won WWII and never had massive wealth. Nor did he create an oligarchy.

Come on, man, please just look at what he's doing.

-That's propaganda. Also, false. Putin is much poorer than DJT, and the oligarchy was far more developed when he came in than it is now. Communists (and even Democrats and radical Republicans) blamed Eisenhower at the time for entrenching business Republican oligarchy.

1. You can't use Hillary as an excuse anymore because she's not running for President. Whatever the hell the Democratic Party may or may not be doing is completely irrelevant to Trump's presidency.

2. Sessions committed perjury to a Senate Committee and Trump's entire presidential administration is borderline treasonous.

3. Dude Corey Lewandowski was on CNN's payroll throughout the election so don't even get started about unfair relations with the media.

4. also lmbo that you're still clinging to pizzagate

5. I do hope the Kremlin is paying you overtime for this

Nothing will come of this, of course, but Sessions deserved to get kicked out for more reasons than just this.

He lied to Congress in his confirmation hearings about matters pertaining to treason.

-That is a lie, Beet. You should apologize to the people for this pollution of discourse. Failing to adopt a Hitlerish posture towards Russia has never been treason, and Sessions told the truth -no contact with the Russian govt in his role as Trump campaign surrogate.

lmbo that you're still digging yourself deeper

>implying it's "Hitlerish" to oppose a foreign nation meddling in our election
>implying a Trump supporter has the right to call anyone else "Hitlerish"
>implying that speaking as a "Trump Surrogate" or "Senator" is in any way relevant distinction
>implying Sessions can be trusted to not bring up the campaign in his private convos
>implying Sessions had legitimate committee business that required multiple secret meetings with the agent of a foreign government without telling your fellow Senators about it
>implying Sessions didn't commit perjury
>implying the Trump administration isn't actively collaborating with foreign enemies of the United States

You should apologize to the people for this pollution of discourse.

Sorry we're not morons or five year olds so nobody is falling for your garbage trolling. You are convincing literally nobody of your point of view. I do hope the Kremlin is paying you well, friend

Yep. More fake news from the Washington Post.  I see that all the Trump derangement syndrome sufferers here are eagerly accepting every propaganda line churned out by Jeff Bezos' blog because it feeds into their conspiracy theories.

It would be helpful when you call something fake news for you to specifically state what part of the story you disagree with. Do you deny that he ever talked to the Russian ambassador, or that when they talked it was about something related to the election?

Did Sessions say something false in his testimony? Yes. Was he intentionally lying? Almost definitely. Can that be proven? Very unlikely.

Um, the transcript combined with the fact that he met with the Russian ambassador prove he's lying.
To paraphrase:

Franken: "Hey, people are saying that parts of Team Trump met with the Russian government. What would you do if that turned out to be true?"

Sessions then volunteered: "They called me part of Team Trump and I totally did not ever talk to the Russians."

Justice Dept: "Um, you met with the Russian ambassador. Twice. Privately."

Under any government but Pussygrabber's dictatorship, that's a *conviction*.

Once again Trump Republicans are going to waste resources fighting the Sessions drama. Good. The Russian smoke should eventually yield important information about the extent of the collaboration between Moscow and Trump's campaign. Plus the constant news about Russia will define Trump's Presidency.

I don't necessarily believe we'll have it in months but the relentless drip will wear down the wall. Every development is a good one. Can't wait for #impeachment.

Exactly. Every day spent on damage control over this is a day not spent on dismantling Obamacare or hashing out the new unconstitutional discriminatory executive order.

It would have been nice if you left the transcript so others on the forum could read these words in context.

More than that. In the long run this constant resistance will destroy the Trump Administration. There may be short term consequences and election losses but this is the single best way to bring down Trump in the long run. It also deprives Trump of any ability to unite the country through fiction and lying.

His base needs to look at the ugliness and reconcile that they voted for this man and they need to take a good hard look at what that says about their values. Long and short of it is they're morally bankrupt.

The contradictory standpoints from Left-wing politicians and the Media will revive Trump.  "Resistance" is the catchphrase the left is using to describe their obstinance towards Trump's policies, but "Resistance" is the basic premise behind Trump's presidency.  It will backfire.  And then they will seal their death certificates when Trump's pushes left-wing policies and Democrats resist these pro-American, pro-lower and middle class policies.

Trump's base needs to stand firm.  All these nonsense espoused by the left will fade, and Trump will pivot towards his populist, left-wing ideals.  He's eating his broccoli first.  He has satisfied his entire base in a little over a month, and can now devour the rest of the voting bloc with policies that conservatives can stomach and liberals hold dear.

Why hasn't Trump immediately removed all those completely unjustified anti-Russia sanctions?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuh??

I'm impatient, and would be very disappointed to see them remain.

Also,

Why did you leave out this part?

Sessions acting in accordance with his role as member of the armed services panel is NOT a campaign surrogate.

He spoke with over 30 foreign officials in the time-span.

Sessions lied about in it his testimony thus committing perjury...you know the same thing the dopey GOP impeached Clinton over

No, he told the truth.

No other member of the Senate Armed Services Committee met with Kislyak, just Sessions. Hmmm, I wonder why that would be.

So much perjury in this administration.
-Folks, Sessions said nothing false. Don't troll.

Sessions did not have any contact with the RU govt in his role as campaign surrogate.

1) you don't get to make the rules.  Hillary was your party candidate.  She is fair game.  I understand the embarrassment.

First let the record show, I don't even like Hillary.

The Trump Administration isn't going up against the Clintons any longer - the election is over. Trump's presidency is a dumpster fire and any comparisons between Trump and the person he beat four months ago is an irrelevant distraction. Nice try.

If you bother reading through this thread you'll find several people explaining how Franken asked Sessions a direct question while he was under oath and he blatantly lied. Still waiting on those citation buddies!

lol no? Besides what you're saying is irrelevant to the fact that Trump's administration has numerous proven contacts with the Russian government that they've been desperately trying to hide

Why no evidence for your insane claims, friend? Afraid to reveal the sources? Are you making stuff up, parroting the insane Alex Jones, blindly trusting what you read on 4chan?

lol.

The dem/msm attempt to create fake scandals from retinue, mundane things proves just how intellectually and morally bankrupt they are. For three months the media has been pushing this lie, and for three months they've been forced to admit, buried at the end of every 'story', that there isn't any evidence for these wild claims. Yet they put 'RUSSIA, INVESTIGATION, TRUMP' in sensational headlines anyway. It's beyond absurd at this point. It's blatant propaganda.

Democrats have nothing left except more ethnic/gender divisions and phony outrage. And people are rejecting it, not just in America but all across western civilization.

These daily outrages represent the last dying breath of cultural marxism.

Nice non-sequitur.

And Hillary certainly did set up a private server.
She certainly did bit bleach all of her emails the day after they were subpoenaed.

Both of these things were a violation of federal law. Guess what, she got away with it anyways because she's a Clinton. You support this.
