The options presented are based on the United States Census Bureau's definition of United States regions and divisions.

East South Central narrowly misses out because of Mississippi.

If you draw a straight line between Mobile and Detroit, the line crosses through or within an hour's drive of all of my favorite cities in America - Huntsville, Nashville, Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati and Detroit. The further you go from that line, the worse it gets.

Gotta go with Pacific. I won't vote for a region with Jersey in it, and New England is meh.

I really wanted to vote for South Atlantic, but I can't overlook Florida.

So Middle Atlantic it is by a hair.

-Pretty much, though I would rate New England and the West a rank higher and the mid-Atlantic two lower.

East North Central, obviously.

Second is probably the other Midwest region followed by either New England or the Mountain West.

New England obviously, followed by the Pacific. After that it gets tough deciding between them.
