Agreed.  Stripping the Clinton name from Little Rock's airport guarantees that Washington National Airport will revert to its old name the next time the Democrats are in charge, which as long as they don't stick some other politician's name on it, wouldn't be a bad idea.  Politicians get their names plastered on too much stuff anyway,

The Clintons are one of the few good things that have ever come out of this terrible state. Not surprising though.

Maybe they can switch names with Reagan National.

I was quite disappointed that Obama didn't rename it.

The Clintons should relocate Bill's presidential library to somewhere in the Tri-State Area just to spite those ungrateful boobs.

Generally speaking, I don't like it when things are named after living people, period. No matter what.

Yeah. When he was alive I really thought it was unbecoming for Robert Byrd to name half his state after himself.

I had a problem with Washington National Airport being renamed Reagan National Airport. I thought the name would have been more appropriate for LAX.

You should come to Wisconsin - where literally every other state building is named after Tommy Thompson.

Naming things after people who are still alive is a terrible idea tbh (with some exceptions).

I've lived in both WV and WI. West Virginia is way, way worse. It's really bizarre.

We know there won't be any named after Scott Walker, because he doesn't believe in building new government buildings; only selling/demolishing them.

As horrible as these people are, stripping names off buildings is in general not acceptable with few exceptions

The dude who proposed this is a nutjob, just so you all know.  He is infamous in most political circles in the state.

He was also willing to get the state sued for putting up a 10 commandments monument, without allowing for other groups to put up a monument.

The locals here have never been a fan of the name. Can't tell you how many times people just call it Washington National Airport or DCA.

This would be the best solution.

I hope that the state removes the name. I am still so glad that it rejected the vile Hillary Clinton by such a decisive margin back in November.
