To be honest, Trump's tweet sounds as if he were drunk when writing it.

is there really no way to sideline an unfit president?

outbreaks like that should automatically make pence prez.

Section 4 of the 25th amendment grants the cabinet the authority to declare Trump incapable of serving as president.

Jake Tapper just now on twitter:

Quote

So Trump has zero evidence he was wiretapped. He got the story completely from Breitbart/Levin. This man's stupidity knows no bounds.

So, it's basically the same thing as the "last night in Sweden" stuff.

Trump distrusts the intelligence agencies. So, instead of getting his information from them he chooses to watch Fox News and read Breitbart. And since Fox News and Breitbart only say good things about him and his administration they must be reliable sources, right? So, when he sees something on Fox News or Breitbart he agrees with, he assumes that it must be true. And then he writes about it on Twitter...

Something is coming out.

Trump would not have reacted like this unless he had some inside info.

LOL

Trump reacts like this when he sees something on Fox News and likes it. He's like a dog chasing a car.

"It must be true because it was reported on Breitbart/Fox News" isn't really proof.

Like Rogers quoted, he's the president now - if it happened, he can get the evidence. Instead, he just mindlessly regurgitates chatter from the media / cable news.

Maybe the problem is that Trump doesn't really see himself as the president. Consciously or subconsciously, he still regards himself as the opposition. Opposition to THE SYSTEM. All the talk about the "deep state", the rallies with his supporters, his disregard for the intelligence agencies, his slash-and-burn budget proposal etc. all point to this.

The result is that America doesn't really have a president in the true sense right now.

Comment on CNN which draws parallels between Trump's past birtherism and the current wiretapping claims, arguing that Trump is basically rehashing what he did when he questioned Obama's birth certificate:

Haha, seems like stuff is leaking directly out of the House Intelligence Comittee right and left.

If there was in fact some sort of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, the White House's insistence on the "Obama wiretapped Trump" narrative makes sense for the first time.

So far the question was: Why would Trump even do it? Insisting that these allegations are true are only hurting him.

If the "Obama wiretapped Trump" claim is part of an attempt of a larger cover-up it's starting to make sense.

#LockHerUp!

Because that's magically going to solve ALL of America'sthe worlds problems at once! Including the rising premiums for Obamacare, of course.

I have not the slightest idea what this is supposed to mean. I don't even care what it is supposed to mean.

I can only reiterate what I said before: No on both accounts. You're wrong.

This is the dumbest cover up I have ever seen
