There is three pages worth of threads on the AFG board between March 1st and Today

There is only one page worth of threads on the AFG board between January 1st and March 1st.

As President, Congress only put 2 bills on my desk in 2 months worth of time, and passed one amendment.

Since Dfw and Goldwater took office, Congress has put 8 bills on his desk and passed one Amendment to the Regions in less than a month.

Now we will take questions from the press and public on the actions/performance of the House.

What pieces of legislation are you seeking to pass? What are your top priorities over the rest of the week?

What pieces of legislation are you seeking to pass? What are your top priorities over the rest of the week?

Presently I got three bills that are on the floor:
The Four is Not Enough Amendment, which will soon be amended into a proposal along the lines of what Adam and Leinad discussed a week or so ago.

The Research Grant Process and Oversight Act, which is almost done. It directs agencies on how to administer the research into alternative fuels, oil extraction methods and so for that were provided for in the Gas Tax Act.

The Voting Rights Amendment, which I took over as sponsor when AZ left. This qualifies the voting standards that resulted in Court cases in October. A previous version failed to pass the House during a prior session.

As for longer term projects I am collaborating with President Dfw, Senators PiT and Scott on healthcare.

I would note that this is a Question Time period for the whole house, not just myself so if you have questions for the other members, please feel free to ask questions directed at them.

You can view all the bills on the floor here: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=260022.msg5554467#msg5554467

So I sent a PM yesterday morning to 4 members of the House about voting on a particular bill. Those members were Pessimistic, Clyde, Dereich and Peebs.   Pessimistic voted. There other three have not and they have all been on during the time period in question.

I don't enjoy this very much, but I don't think you can say I haven't been lenient especially with Peebs, who has received way more warnings and messages than my policy initially set (3). If I really wanted to be a dick I could wait until tomorrow morning once time had expired. This way, if they vote on the bill in question, I will remove them immediately. However a subsequent message has been sent about another bill and failure to vote their will get them right back on.

My hope is that activity and engagement will be restored to Congress and then we can proceed with starting the new Congress on Friday on a high note, preferably without smoking whatever Leinad did to get so high in chat a few minutes ago.

Peebs and Illiniwek didn't meet the 72 hours Debate requirement on either Harvey Aid or the Labor union bill thing, whatever it is called.

Peebs hasn't posted on the Enceladus Mission Probe Act, at all and it is well past 72 hours. VPH was 48 hours late with posting on the Storm Relief Fund Act.

The Budget Process & Control Act has passed both chambers and has been signed into law by President Fhtagn. Both Chambers have now proceeded with the process of electing their representatives to the Budget Process Committee.

The Continuing Resolution meant to extend us beyond the Sept 30th end of the fiscal year, has been motioned to expedite a final vote in both chambers and will should be at vote in less than 24 hours.

https://uselectionatlas.org/AFEWIKI/index.php/House_of_Representatives

https://uselectionatlas.org/AFEWIKI/index.php/House_of_the_Representatives_Rules_and_Procedures_for_Operation

The House has passed some new rules, including an amendment to the paygo rule and the Succession of Seats Resolution. These have been incorporated into the rules and thE main House page updated to reflect them as well.

I have also included a notes section at the bottom of the main house page linking to the rules governing both the List of Members and the History Section. I realize some times others beat me to the punch in updating this page, but I please ask that you careful review the rules governing both lists before updating them.

The rule for the List is literally the first section, clause 3 of the Definitions defining the Dean.

The rule for the History section is the last article of the rules, and is also linked to the original House Debate thread.

I find it hilarious the people trip over themselves updating the wiki pages for the House, yet the Amendments still aren't on the Constitution page and the statute pages are out of day. Tongue

We can form a commission, and make sure Atlasian and Southern laws are up to date on the wiki. I have the text to the southern chamber in word form and just need an editor to copy/paste
