I actually know what he looks like, so I'll go with my initial mental image of Kalwejt, and that is Josef Stalin. I am unsure why, though I think it was due to a general association with the classification of "Eastern European left-wing atheist" (yes, I know Stalin was Georgian...). Add to that perhaps a pipe and maybe clutched in his hand some book on Persia or Arabia.
