I must say in the course of one hour I have see every single one of my anti-IRC prejudices confirmed. And those are that without proper structure and control, IRC is a waste of time and a distraction that siphons activity away from the AFE board.

In proper controlled settings like the NSC meetings I held, and the meeting with the Governors it can have productive use. Other than that it merely serves to advance drama and distract from valuable official duties and responsibilities.

Before they start posting the transcriptions, I just want to say I was under the impression that this was a trolling debate, not a serious one. My memory is generally hazing since I let my inner Trump take over, but I'm pretty sure I didn't say anything that I'm willing to stand by.

You guys really want to see the transcripts? It was a clusterfudge if I ever did see one. Me and Peebs were figuring it out on the fly, and both candidates did really poorly with our hands-off approach.

I think well-done IRC debates are better than poorly-done AFE debates, and likewise well-done AFE debates are better than poorly-done IRC debates.

"did poorly"... I will chalk it up to confusion on dip's side for the seriousness of the debate, but you seriously cannot be blaming "the candidates". It's like dumping a kid in a gorilla pen, and expecting them not to get mauled. Like, post the records, I don't care. There was nothing productive said after the first 5 minutes.

I am perfectly fine with an actually moderated rematch. I do apologize to Leinad and Peebs for putting them on the spot, but the way I acted to the disorganozation of a "debate" is not the fault of my own, but more the structure, or lack thereof.

Anyways, I am rambling, but yeah. Do whateves, I don't really care. If dip wants to formally debate me, then I am all ready.
