Yes.

It was pretty nice, but unfortunately limited to only one city.

Flown over it, but never been on the ground.

I think I've been in the airspace of every country with nuclear weapons except North Korea.

Same.  I made the mistake of trying to look out the window and wow almost got blinded!

I'd like to go someday, but it probably won't happen.

Yes, to Yekaterinburg in the spring a few years ago when Finnair had a ridiculous sale for $1500 r/t in business class from JFK-SVX. Vladivostok is the place I'd most like to visit, though.

No, but I did once go to an awful night club by Lake Geneva, full of 19 year old Russian girls in 3 millimetre long microskirts, drinking 1000 franc vodka shots that were paid for by their 57 year old, lamborghini driving, tax exile, secret bank account owning, mafioso, oligarch, scumbag sugar daddies husbands.

So i assume that's pretty much covered it.

This. I'd love to give it a proper visit, though.

I was in Russia twice while it was part of the Soviet Union. The first time was for two weeks a few months before the Wall came down and was perhaps the most fascinating visit I've ever made. Watching the events of Tiananmen Square through the Soviet media would take a page to tell. The people were great however, and I sensed they knew the times were soon to change.

I would be very interested in reading that page if you feel like writing it.
