There's rumors that Schwarzenegger will run for Senate in CA in 2018. If he does, I'd peg him and Feinstein as the likely top-two contenders (sorry Michael Eisen). Who would you pick?

That's where I'm at. I figure Feinstein won't be in office too much longer, while Schwarzenegger could be in office for a while.

Really undecided. Speaking in terms of partisan politics, if Schwarzenegger runs as an Indy caucusing with Dems or as a Dem, then Schwarzenegger ought to prevail.
Feinstein should step aside to give the next generation a chance!

I don't like Feinstein and I'm pretty sure Arnold would caucus with the Democrats, if not stick with the GOP to troll them (and Trump) in epic and hilarious ways.  Voted Arnold.

If I could hold my nose for Loretta Sanchez, I suppose I can hold my nose for Arnold.

Feinstein, with a gun to my head.

Not going to support another GOP rubber stamp who bankrupted my state.

The desire to get rid of Feinstein would be very tempting, but Schawarzenegger is awful so I'm not voting for him.

Schwarzenegger. Especially if he ran as an independent.

I'd vote for Feinstein if it was 10 or 15 years ago, but given the fact she may not survive her entire term and that she's been there for 25 years, it's time for her to go.

Hard to vote against a Democratic Jew, but Schwarzenegger is better than Feinstein, so... Undecided for now

http://www.politico.com/story/2017/03/schwarzenegger-california-senate-rumors-235972

Also didn't he have an approval rating of like 20% when he left office? Why on Earth would he be a formidable candidate?

Look I despise Feinstein but I have no f[inks]ing clue how any Democrat could possible think Schwarzenegger would be any type of improvement. He was a horrendous Governor who left office with hilariously bad approval ratings, and the idea that he'd be any different than those Republican Senators who openly say bad things about Trump and then rubber stamp all his appointees and agenda is absurd. Can anyone name anything actually positive that he's done?
