Bharara coincidentally made a new personal Twitter account a week ago, perhaps he knew this was coming. Him running for Governor or NYC Mayor wouldn't be too crazy.


Edit: Actually, Bharara is NOT resigning. White House will apparently have to fire him if they want to get rid of him.

He got himself fired in a dramatic standoff over routine changes in a hyper partisan environment-literally this was the most obvious act of political theater that I've ever witnessed. Probably doesn't bode well for his campaign (obviously he's running).

It only has to play well for Democratic primary voters, which it very well could.
