Um.... my mother-in-law's monthly bill will increase my several hundred dollars when her subsidy is stripped back from "the bill is capped at x% of her income" to "a flat $333.33 per month is subtracted from her bill." Right now, she's insulated from price increases. In the future, she'll pay the full increase every year.

Granted, raising the moochers by 30% will allow everyone else to pay a little less, but Price is objectively wrong on this.

Everyone, including Trump supporters, should have the right to know when they are being screwed over by Ryan & Company.

"We're gonna give you everything the Democrats gave you, but somehow with half the cost" - The Republican response to every major enacted Democratic policy since the New Deal.

LOL, this one is nowhere close to "Hillary and Trump are equally bad." That lie may eventually define the 21st century.

Well yea I believe Trump was incredibly worse but according to the American public it's the opposite. It just goes to show how bad the Democrats messaging was last election.

When they say nobody...just pretend that's what they're calling you.  Your name is nobody.  Then you'll realize they're telling you the truth.

National Republicans simply can't govern in the current way their party is now. Once the CBO's report comes out tomorrow, Democrats need to hammer the point home that the AHCA will be a disaster.

don't want to make a new thread about this but to summarize....

Breitbart is calling it RyanCare, is quoting Brookings (!!!) to rage against it, highlights every critical republican, disses Tom Price for the topic of this thread...

and still achieves to not criticize president trump - who, as ben shapiro pointed out - threatened to support primaries to any politican who rejects AHCA.

state-run-media in its final form.

A lot more people were hurt financially by the ACA, why should we expect this be any different?

Wrong! People were already hurt by free market healthcare, ACA tried to help.

It's not wrong.  You might not like it, I certainly don't since it's kicking my wallet's ass but that doesn't make it wrong.  And there hasn't been "free market" healthcare for a long long time.

People were going bankrupt because they didn't have health insurance. I just think people are revising because they didn't have to worry about healthcare pre-ACA Denying people with pre existing conditions is free market as it gets unless you can define the free market healthcare system we are missing?I can't even think of a well developed nation that practices free market healthcare successfully.

These feel like the kinds of things you say when you don't have to worry about the consequences of broken promises. They probably know the bill isn't going to pass, so they can say whatever they want knowing that their claims won't be refuted.
