I've sworn the last couple years after seeing most of my upset picks blow up in my face that I would go chalk, so I have no 13-16s winning (I do have 12s MTSU and UNCW pulling minor upsets) and no double digit seeds to the Sweet Sixteen.  My final four is Duke, Arizona, Kansas, and UNC.  Duke plays UNC in an epic rivalry title game and makes it three of four this year.

So, watch this be the year a 16 beats a 1 (let it be South Dakota St. over Gonzaga, please!).

Can't wait until my alternate becomes visible on Thursday (since we're allowed two)!

Has anyone ever tried the BracketCaster?  It can give you weird, but fun, results sometimes.  Last night, I got Vanderbilt, Seton Hall, and Michigan to win it all in three different simulations.

Has anyone ever seen a loss as heartbreaking as Vandy's today?  I'm a diehard VU fan and didn't know what to say for a long time after that!

The atmosphere of this South Carolina-Duke game in Greenville, SC is pretty insane. Duke can thank their former governor for this game not being in Greensboro, NC.

I still support Pat McCrory even though he killed my bracket!

The good thing is that most people had Duke going into the Sweet 16, so that doesn't knock anyone out of contention.

Unless you picked them to win it all.  Maybe unless we get a true "out of left field champion".  My bracket went from being in great shape to pretty much dead over that second half!

Assuming UCLA beats Cincinnati, here is my preference order:

1. Florida (I want to say that we beat the champs three times)
2. South Carolina (beating them once is OK, plus S-E-C...S-E-C)
3. Baylor (Scott Drew is Bryce Drew's brother)
4. Purdue (a solid program)
5. West Virginia (my joke "GOP Wins" bracket would actually win)
6. Michigan (nice story after the plane crash)
7. Butler (after seeing them come so close in 2010 and 2011)
8. Gonzaga (I would be more invested in them if they hadn't lost to BYU)
9. Xavier (a 11 seed winning it all would be something)
10. Arizona
11. Wisconsin
12. Oregon
13. Kansas
14. North Carolina
15. UCLA
16. Kentucky (#NeverKentucky)

Florida is one game away from the Final Four, but there is still one team that they are 0-3 against Smiley

A reminder with Florida potentially less than four minutes from the Final Four:

I want SC to win it all, and I barely care about which of the other three does if SC doesn't.
