5: Spokane-Walla Walla
6: Tacoma-Olympic
7: Seattle-Shoreline

I think the Grand Canyon is actually in the 1st. I named the first after the two largest American Indian tribes in honor of it having the highest % or Natives. I figured Prescott probably should be in the name, but it also has Yuma, Lake Havasu City, and Phoenix exburbs and more. I didn't want a super long name. Prescott-Black Mountains sounds good, I guess.

VA-10: Dulles
VA-11: Fairfax
Using my system, the different ones are:
VA-03: Norfolk City
VA-04: Richmond-Chesapeake
VA-06: Shenandoah
VA-07: York Valley?
VA-08: Arlington-Alexandria
VA-09: Blue Ridge Highlands

I use "City" for urban districts, and dashes instead of "and" in my system. Eventually I'll have all non-at large districts outside of California.

Ah you are right. The entire Park appears to split between the two districts, but what we all recognize as THE Grand Canyon is in the 1st. Prescott-Black Mountains is good.

MN-7 can be "West Minnesota" we don't need to drag the inferior states to our west into this.

A lot of theme are so mangled, you'd probably best do what the Australians do and name the after famous people. Like, the majority minority districts could be named after Civil Rights figures etc.

No, it would not.  They're so Gerried that the names would have to be very cumbersome to be meaningful.  Mine, for example, might be called Most-of-Lancaster-County-But-Not-A-Significant-Part-In-The-East-Which-Is-Deep-Amish-Country-But-Also-A-Little-Bit-Of-The-South-Central-Part-Of-Chester-County-And-Just-A-Bit-Of-The-Western-Part-of-Berks-County.  I'd prefer to stick with PA-16, thankyouverymuch.

Neighboring PA-7 would be even more cumbersome to try to name:

And most of the districts in Maryland would be impossible to name.
