If this was the Democratic ticket, these were the main candidates... who would you vote for?

(And yes, even here in Atlas, Oprah is polling better than a lot of other Democrats... the top, besides these two, are: Biden, Booker, Sherrod, Bullock, Franken, Gillibrand, Harris, and Warren. For those hesitant about Oprah, or Sanders, let's see where they'd stand if that was the official ticket.)

Oprah will be a joke. Why on earth would Sanders agree to be her VP Pick?

I don't think Dems want to replicate the idiocy of Trump with their own clueless celeb candidate !

Why so sure that Stein or Johnson will run in 2020 anyway?

I don't want an Oprah candidacy, but seriously, at this point I'm voting for Not Trump/Not Pence (D)

He would have a lot of influence.

And she may not be a politician, but Trump is a special kind of stupid. Not every non-politician would act like Trump.

Voted Johnson, but I'd be just as likely to vote Trump/Pence to keep Oprah out of the White House.

Oprah has a tremendous life story that can resignate with lots of voters. Although I do agree that Sanders as VP is nonsensical.

If Democrats actually nominated Oprah, I'd have a hard time considering myself a Democrat anymore. Depending on how much damage Trump ended up doing, I might be able to hold my nose and vote for her (especially with Sanders on the ticket), but I could also see myself writing in someone, if Oprah proves to know very little about policy.

There are millions of people with tremendous life stories? Is that how you get voted in? What will she do? Does she have the policy positions, vision, Experience to actually create meaningful change.

I mean any1 is better than freaking Trump but Oprah is a horrible Presidential candidate, flat out the worst Dem candidate in possibly history !

Oprah needs to be the nominee in 2020. If she runs, she will win both the primary and the general easily, and could a be a transformative president. Hopefully she doesn't pick a grumpy 80-year-old white guy as her VP though.

If Oprah is the Democratic nominee and the only one who could stop a second term maybe Oprah or write-in candidate. But the next President, unlike Trump, should be qualified for the job and fit to serve.

I doubt Bernie would accept the VP role at his age but if he does, i couldn't care less about who the top of the ticket is. If one of the dumb corporatist Hillary lovers like Booker or Gillibrand gets the nomination and chooses another corporatist Hillary lover then i'll vote Green again.

It depends on how Trump's presidency goes. If badly, then either Oprah or third-party. If it goes very well, then I would consider voting for him.
