Dixie Is Reborn - The Southern Story Last night, The Southern People made their voice loud and clear, they want a change to the status-quo in favor of a new age of human dignity, economic prosperity for all, and the ability to achieve everything you can in our short lives.
Before I get to what this means for our great region, which I will do in my state of the region speech tomorrow. I want to thank everyone, even those who are diametrically opposed to the ideals that, and so many hold dear (I am looking at you Ben ).
First, I want to thank the Governor, and my opponent, diptheriadan, for being an example and role model to all Southerners of what holding your integrity above party lines looks like. While, we disagree on a lot, I think there is no one that I think would be best fitted to join me in restarting the Southern Constitutional Committee.
And I want to congratulate BenKenobi and Celtic for their victories in become two new active delegates, and I am very excited to engage in a spirited debate on how best to preserve and protect the rights of all Southerners.
But I do want to say individually to fhtagn, a fellow progressive Virginian, and a unabashed feminist focused on making sure that the 51% of mothers, daughters, and sisters are treated the same as us of the other gender. To JustinTimeCuber, a rising firebrand, and the very definition of a freedom fighter, who I am positive will continue to rise in not only the South, but the entire nation. And no one can forget Jacobin, who I have no doubts will be a strong and passionate advocate for positive change in our region.
And so, as this day is historic for my national party, that is not what matters, or what this day should be about. It should and must be about starting the process of unity, solidarity, impassioned debate, and a renewed age of activity for all our great region. I ask you, no matter your political stripes and spots, to join me in this venture.
Thank you, and my God Bless the People of the Great Southern Region, and Atlasia!
