These vultures just won't quit:

They couldn't do it when they had 52 and they needed 50.

How do they plan on doing it with 51 when they need 60?

Theoretically, they could use the 2019 Reconciliation bill during the 2019 fiscal year part of this session (October 1st, 2018-end of session). Just have a bill ready to go and pass it in the lame duck. It's...um...highly unlikely to work.

Do they want to get pummeled in 2018? Focus on the success of the tax bill and the growing economy. Don't try to pass some 40 points underwater aca repeal.

LMAO Trump's tax cut is more unpopular than Poppy Bush's tax increase.

Since it appears Trumpcare is dead. This thread could be used for ACA updates. Preferably to update the status of Medicaid expansion in the states.

Here are the states that can expand Medicaid via ballot initiative:

Idaho already has a campaign underway (for those interested):

Any chance Virginia could expand soon given the improved HoD situation?

Really hard to tell ATM. Hopefully, Northam doesn't pussy out and just jams it through.

I must say (yet again). I'm really surprised the Democratic Party itself isn't allocating resources and money in expanding it through ballot initiatives. It would only strengthen the ACA from any future erosion under the GOP

They'd rather waste all their money on brilliant "consultants" and worthless TV ads.
