Um, Ok.

Burgess Everett‏ @burgessev
Capito and Murkowski telling my colleagues @seungminkim @jenhab they've decided on skinny repeal ... but won't say how they will vote.

9:30 PM

Is that vote a Motion to proceed or an actual bill? And if it's a bill, do we (and more importantly, do the people doing the voting) know what is being voted on.

Perhaps but I'm not sure what in in recent days could have moved Murkowski from a no on MTP to a yes on this...

Why would she vote no? It's not like she has to worry about reelection lol

Because McConnell's gambit is either going to force moderates to vote for cutting Medicaid or let Ryan pass Skinny repeal with no revisions. I hope Murkowski and Capito figured that out.

Paul McLeod‏ @pdmcleod
Senators Johnson, Graham and Cruz just raced into the whip's office. Didn't answer questions about the Paul Ryan statement.

Big news! In the office they had a conference call with Paul Ryan who promised not to pass skinny repeal. They seem to be all yes votes now

This looks like it may be the breakthrough that passes skinny repeal

Lindsey Graham: Paul Ryan assured us "under no circumstances they believe skinny repeal is good policy or good politics."

Graham: "there's no appetite in the House to see the skinny bill replace Obamacare." Says he is a yes on skinny bill to get to conference .

Graham: Ryan didn't promise it won't pass ever but "why would we want to own a bill that increases premiums and doesn't fix the problems?"

So Johnson is now a yes. Graham is now a yes. Cassidy is a yes. Only one from group of four earlier we don't know about is McCain.

Quick, pass this bill that we don't know the implications of before McCain has to go back to the hospital.

Christ, Lindsey!

This has to be one of the dumbest statements I have ever heard from a US politician. When the house passes the skinny repeal in a week, they are going to hang this quote around your neck.

They were conditional yeses, and those conditions have been met according to their criteria.

They are so full of sh**t on the employer mandate.

ACA didn't negatively impact job creation at all, in fact it had the opposite effect.

Burgess Everett @burgessev

Heller is a yes, Capito is decided. We don't know her decision.
