Martin O'Malley's leadership PAC "O’Say Can You See" commissioned an Iowa poll from PPP (so grain of salt):

O'Malley - 18%
Booker - 17%
Klobuchar - 11%
Castro, Cuomo, Gillibrand, Harris, Howard Schultz, Sheryl Sandberg - <10% each
Not sure - 32%

Noticeably absent from this poll: Warren, Sanders, Brown.

PPP surveyed 1,062 Iowa Democrats from March 3-6.

I guess that some of these people realize that they should have supported O'Malley in 2016 because Clinton lost the election and Sanders was too far left for them.

Shame Bernie let Booker redeem himself (like Cuomo) instead of exposing him for sociopath scum he is.

Bernie is only in it for Bernie, so rather unsurprising.

To be honest, if Klobuchar seriously campaigned in the state, she'd likely win the caucus. Klobuchar seems like a really good fit for the state, especially its Democratic base.

O'Malley's good looks are finally working. Roll Eyes

But seriously, I lowkey wouldn't mind O'Malley being the nominee.

I could actually see Gillibrand winning Iowa, although I wouldn't expect her to poll well there early on.

I wonder how many of these polls they conducted before they finally got one with O'Malley in the lead (that they could then release and claim that O'Malley was ahead).

In seriousness though, I do wonder if O'Malley wouldn't be doing too badly in a real poll of Iowa, since he spent way more time there than anywhere else last time around.  Of course, once other candidates start spending time in Iowa, that advantage would evaporate.

According to that Politico writeup, they also polled the favorability of each of the candidates, but the only numbers they mention on fav/unfav are (I assume this is among Dems only):

Booker 40/11% for +29%
Klobuchar 30/9% for +21%
Cuomo 35/19% for +16%

They say O’Malley’s favorability was better than those others, but don’t give a specific number.

O Malley has 0 charisma & is a total goof. I find it hard to believe he can lead any polls, shows how bad Booker & the rest are. Gillibrand is a lackey, even Klobuchar does better than her. She is worse than a poor man's Hillary.

O Malley humiliated himself in 2016 but is absolutely desperate to run again. Of all people, he will probably run again & will be irrelevant. I hope they don't waste time on him in the debates !

Only Martin O'Malley could commission a poll and still not break 20%

Because they knew a progressive would win the poll if they were included.

Is there actual cross tabs for the actual numbers for all of the <10% folks?

Bernie isn't running in 2020 and Warren likely isn't either.

This poll shows a scenario where the 2020 field is wide open and name recognition doesn't come in and fog up the actual support the candidates have. O'Malley went to Iowa more than any other candidate in the primaries - Democrat and Republican. It honestly should come as no surprise that he leads this poll.

Well, of course O'Malley isn't going to do terrible with a poll where everyone else is more conservative.

O'Malley has in all fairness been living in Iowa since 2015, and IIRC did much better there compared to his national ratings

He might have, but we don't really know. Recall that the Iowa Caucus has a minimum a candidate must reach in order to win anything. In most caucus meetings he got less than the minimum (I think it was 15%) and was eliminated. His numbers were thus artificially deflated from his original support.
