In 2014 Bobby McKenzie ran a great race in MI-11. He raised a decent amount of money and did a great job uniting Michiganders of all backgrounds due to his experience in the State department and fluency in Arabic. Hillary came close in MI-11 last year. We can and should make a strong go at it in 2018. Would Bobby McKenzie be a decent choice to run again?

Yes.

Still, in a wave, MI-11 is a seat that could potentially flip. I would not put money on it by any means, but there has been safer seats to randomly flip.

He lost by less than 16 points in 2014 against one of the richest guys in congress who self financed his campaign. Not bad for a first time candidate in a terrible year.

Losing by 16 is always bad, regardless of circumstance.
