Trump's new budget will cut meals on wheels

CDBGs actually go to housing and community programs where I live, because the council makes sure that they are used for only that.

Meals on Wheels is for seniors who are stuck in their homes, it's a good program and should continue. The cost of it is so not the reason why there is a deficit.

No one said it was a government program, but it receives 35% of it's funding from the federal government. That funding being cut would mean lots of seniors would lose meals.
