96 hours, but I'll start 1B before it's done and have them going simultaneously, with 1C up after 1A is finished. 43 in each round (NASCAR-style Tongue), 13+ties will advance to Round 2, which should start next weekend or so. You can pick up to 10, and change votes if you want to.

Don't complain if someone you like isn't here, I had nominations up for a week. Tongue

lol, relevant reference Tongue

Mine: Iron & Wine, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Nirvana, Simon & Garfunkel, OutKast, Aerosmith, John Denver, and last but not least SUFJAN STEVENS!!!!!

I'll switch one to the Stones if they need the help. Left them off because I'm pretty sure they won't (that was an accurate prediction so far Tongue)

The rest were chosen by name coolness, guess 1B is where every other nomination of mine is.

I voted:

Hank Sr.
John Denver
Kanye
Gaga
Sufjan Stevens
Sturgill Simpson
Simon & Garfunkel
David Bowie
Stan Rogers
Adele

Those last two spots could have easily gone to Creedence, Rolling Stones, Metallica, Neil Young or Dead Kennedys but gotta be a cutoff somewhere!

About half the others, I like 1-2 songs, but overall, not doing it.

It's BRTD, I would take him calling our taste in music bad as a compliment. Wink

I think this is a place where we could invoke the old adage that "musical taste is subjective."

If we didn't? You'd be so, so WRONG! Tongue

33 of you need to do yourselves a favor and listen to Sufjan Stevens. Tongue

Iron Maiden shouldn't be losing to the last four artists, and NF should have more than one vote. Guy, seriously, go listen to NF.

What did you just say about Earth, Wind, and Fire? Find me a funkier pop band. I dare you. And Neil Young? We Canadian musicians have to take the few victories we can get Tongue

I'm not saying they're bad, I'm saying that Iron Maiden is the second greatest metal band ever.
