Aw, well. I have no reason to respect the so-called "rights" of the fetus, either.

No, she came out as Pro-Choice. Good for her.

Pro-life conservatives characterizing "pro-choice" as "pro-abortion" irritates me. Many people, myself included, who support abortion rights personally find abortion deeply distasteful; I just don't think it's something that the government has any business banning.

That strange moment when you unexpectedly have the same abortion stance as PiT

I've been adamantly pro-choice for many years. Tongue

That view makes significantly less sense to me than one like Lena Dunham's. If it's not murder, then have as many as you want.

Killing something that could one day be a walking, talking human being bothers me. I don't believe fetuses merit the same rights as said walking, talking human being, but I'm not so cavalier about just offing them.

like pro-abortion is a bad word i would also argue that "pro-life" is quite....bizarre..."anti-bortion" seems more correct, imho.

there is no "anti-life"-faction on earth.

Doesn't completely shock me.

I'm proud to be a pro-life millennial.

Even more proud that I don't know anyone who bases their own ideology off what inconsistent talking heads say or do.

That makes sense. I also mix up people with the same avatar sometimes. It was convenient back when I was L-CA because there was nobody else with that avatar while I was using it.

Anything about Alt-Right Barbie just becomes a cluster conversation, even if she pushes to the center on the question that could be the world's smallest political test.

I don't know who she is but it's brave to be so ideological and then break on a particular issue.

There should be a place for pro-choice conservatives, just as there should be a place for pro-life progressives.

Her way of thinking makes much more sense than the current right/left thinking.  An anti-government party should have a libertarian view on social issues, while a pro-government party should have a more moralistic view since they want to use government to promote values.

I read that 1/3 of Democrats are pro-life - Pennsylvania  had a lot of pro-choice Republicans and pro-life Democrats.

Yup. I'm a pro life progressive and I'm not religious either.

I don't see why it's so shocking to a lot of people for Tomi to break with her Party on a few issues.
Yeah you are not gonna agree with your party on everything.

btw, i could be wrong but.....even while the religious right was more visible during the early george w bush years.....wasn't the matter of being "pro-life" less....important the in the past?

today it seems like, if you are not super-duper convinced you have no chance to run as a new republican anyway?

btw...twitter is dangerous:

She's another Conservative con artist and grifter who's political opinions are guided by the almighty dollar. Back when she did news at her college, she believed in Global Warming and took mostly left-center positions on most issues. Then when she got hired at Fox, she just BSed being a Conservative for $$. Tomi just says what she has to say to get that sweet sweet Fox news money

She's following the business model of people like Bill "Famliy values" O' Riley who claim moral high ground in his "news" show yet he beats his wife and sexually harassed his assistant with a loofah.

Tomi was on FOX? I must have missed that. It says nothing on her Wikipedia page about her being on FOX.

nonsense, she is a blaze invention, from intern to host...but beck seems to be pissed about this stunt, so now it it said, she could soon switch to fox.

She was "born" at OAN. She is obviously destined for Fox one day, but she's not ready yet.

Cool, she gets way too much hate for things unrelated to her views(and honestly, a decent chunk of it is on some level rooted in sexism).

But she's still a s**ty right wing hack who says horrible things.

She and Fox are proof that conservative only want women as talking slabs of meat. The moment they dare to have their own opinions they will be dumped to the curb.

I'd love to have me some Tomi Lahern's babies

Why? She's a deeply ugly woman/human being.
