Clinton coming out the of the woods or even better running (and winning) for NY mayor should help Trump, no? He needs an antipole ASAP.

I wish she had won. She sounds so sane compared with KingCon.

If I were her, I'd go no holds barred and full fledged bitch mode. She's got nothing to lose.

She has nothing to gain either, because she isn't the moral leader of the opposition, that's Bernie.

She would make an excellent mayor. I hope she runs.

She'd be a better mayor than DeBlasio, but that's a fairly low bar.

She got my support for mayor. She'd do a much better job than Big Bird Deblasio

If Hillary actually runs for mayor (I'm like 99% sure she won't) then I don't see her winning.

What does this even mean? If she insists on being in the public sphere still, I really hope it is purely in a position of support (financial or otherwise), and not a new candidacy for public office.

Can't she just die already? We're sick of her living! /sarc

Seriously, she is going to remain a part of the political spectrum somehow. She is not going to run for any office, but I think some people want her to just so they can complain.

She should not remain silent but continue to do her work helping to raise the status of females all around the world. And she should write books.

As for running for office, I can't imagine why she'd want to take a lowly job as a mayor, but maybe it's a good job for a retired person.

Folks shouldn't be running for office because it's a "good job for a retired person;" they should be running because they have real ideas about how to improve the lives of their potential constituents in a meaningful way as well as out of a sense of civic duty (not that Hillary Clinton would know anything about that).

You are right that people running for mayor should have more qualifications than just being retired, but I was specifically referring to Hillary in this case.

She has a lot of political experience under her belt, and she's also pushing 70. She is of retirement age. If she still wants to be politically active, then maybe stepping down to take a job as mayor would be a good fit for her, as long as the people of NY want her.

Excellent news for Trump. And LOL at the idea that mayor of NYC is some joke position for retired people.

I envision her starting some sort of political foundation to help get more women involved in politics.
