As for running for office, I can't imagine why she'd want to take a lowly job as a mayor, but maybe it's a good job for a retired person.

You are right that people running for mayor should have more qualifications than just being retired, but I was specifically referring to Hillary in this case.

She has a lot of political experience under her belt, and she's also pushing 70. She is of retirement age. If she still wants to be politically active, then maybe stepping down to take a job as mayor would be a good fit for her, as long as the people of NY want her.
